Tired from traveling, we spent all of yesterday at the beach :) thankfully, i didnt get so burned this time!
My host grandma, Claude, is in town all of this week. Last night for dinner she made paella...its a spanish dish, because she is half hispanic and grew up in Barcelona. It had rice, different veggies, and LOTS of seafood. I was hesitant to eat the seafood (after my allergic reaction to the seafood pasta...). I decided to go for it anyway because it looked delicious...no rash yet, so...so far, so good.
We sat around on the terrace last night and talked, until I had to go study for my final exam for today : /
Everyone thought the exam was pretty difficult, as the "short answer" questions could very well have been called essays. I think I did fairly well though.
Our new semester starts tomorrow. I'll be taking Business French every afternoon from 2-430. It'll be so nice only having one class a day!
Today, I am about to go meet up with Stella. We are gonna grab lunch at a cafe, go see the exhibit at the Musée Fabre, and then go to the supermarket. We are buying groceries because we offered to cook dinner tonight for our family! We decided that since my favorite food is all things pasta related, and she is from Italy, we're gonna cook Pasta Bolognese! She's gonna give me her recipe, I cant wait! (ill make it at one of our tuesday night dinners, paul!)
I better get goin to meet up with her! Ill let yall know how the dinner goes over!!
